HK Doesn't Give Nataru Toll Discounts, President Director: Trans Sumatra Is Not Financially Eligible

JAKARTA - SOE toll road operator PT Hutama Karya (Persero) said there were no discounts for the Trans Sumatra Toll Road (JTTS) during the Christmas and New Year 2025 period.

The cancellation of this discount is because JTTS is not yet feasible financially.

President Director of PT Hutama Karya (Persero) Budi Harto said, the absence of a toll tariff discount for JTTS also refers to the stipulation of the toll road entrepreneur association.

"So this discount is a mutual agreement, especially since the Trans Sumatra toll road is not yet feasible," he said at a press conference at the BUMN Ministry Office, Jakarta, Tuesday, December 10.

Similarly, the President Director of PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk Subaksi Syukur said that for the 2024 Christmas and 2025 New Year (Nataru) holiday periods there is no discount on toll rates.

This stipulation has also been agreed upon by all toll road entrepreneurs in the Indonesian Toll Association (ATI).

"From the results of the ATI meeting, Nataru has no toll tariff discount first," said Subakti.

Subakti said that the toll tariff discount was not given this year because the Toll Road Business Entity (BUJT) had to pay a large amount of money for functional toll roads.

Overall, continued Subakti, there are 120 kilometers (km) of toll roads that are functional or free of tariff.

"Because we issued large enough to function from 120 km earlier," he said.

The 120 km toll roads that operate functionally are free from various managers, including South Jakarta Cikampek II Section 3 of the Kutanegara-Sedang Segment along 8.5 km.

Furthermore, the Solo-Yogyakarta-NYIA Klaten-Prambanan toll road is 8.6 km long.

Then, the Probolinggo Banyuwangi Toll Road Section 1 Gending-Krakasan is 12.9 km long.

Then, the functional toll road at JTTS includes the Sigli Banda Aceh Toll Road Section 1 Padang Tiji-Seulimeum along 24.6 km and the Binjai-Langsa Toll Road Section 3 Tanjung Pura-Pangkalan Brandan along 19 km.

Selanjutnya, Tol Kuala Tanjung-Tebing Tinggi-Parapat sebagian Seksi 2 Kuala Tanjung-Indrapura sepanjang 10,1 km. Serta, Tol Pekanbaru-Padang Seksi 1 Padang-Sicincin sepanjang 36,6 km.
