Construction Of 36 Units Of Offices In IKN Accelerated, Progress Reaches 39 Percent

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) said the progress of the construction of 36 units of the Ministerial Tax House at IKN Nusantara had reached 39 percent to date.

"The progress is already 39 percent, all spaces have been built," said Director General of Housing of the Ministry of PUPR Iwan Suprijanto after being met at the 2023 Indonesia Construction event at JIExpo Kemayoran, Jakarta, Friday, November 3.

Iwan said that later all the furniture in the landed house would prioritize domestically made products. "(All furniture) there are domestic products that we prioritize," he said.

He emphasized that the construction of the landed house must be different from the flats (rusun) because the house for the minister itself has an area of up to 580 square meters, while the flats are only 98 square meters.

"It's different, please. Right, the designation is for the minister, but we will prepare later there will be several alternative designs as well, some are classic and modern," said Iwan.

Furthermore, Iwan said that the design of each minister's house would not be much different, it's just that there may be 2-4 alternatives.

"For the mockup directly there, there is no mockup here. The area is 580 square meters/unit, it's really big how the mockup is," he said.

Currently, there are around 32 units of the Ministerial Position Tax House that have been built, and reforestation has also been carried out in the 104 and 105 persil areas.

According to the plan, all units of the Ministerial Position Tax House will be completed in mid-2024 and can be occupied immediately.
