JAKARTA - PT. Indonesian Credit Guarantee (Jamkrindo) has again taken an important role in supporting the growth of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in the country. As a form of support for MSMEs in Indonesia, Jamkrindo held a series of workshops with the theme Managing Financial Reports for MSMEs & Socialization of Decent MSME Platforms. Jamkrindo held a workshop at the East Kalimantan UKM Disperindapkop Building, Samarinda City, East Kalimantan on Tuesday, September 19, 2023. The speakers at the workshop were Henny Purwaningsih as Acting (Plt) Head of East Kalimantan UKM Industry and Trade Agency, Donald Mathius George as the Leader of Jamkrindo Samarinda Branch, and Roy Baskoro as the CEO of Class Rising MSME Services (LUNAS).
Separately, the Deputy Head of the Institutional Relations Division II of PT Jamkrindo Anggit Murdiwibowo revealed that the workshop this time targeted around 60 participants from MSMEs in Samarinda City. In this workshop, the participants will receive several training materials such as the Socialization of Jamkrindo & Guarantee and Theory & Practice Management of Financial Reports for MSMEs.
This workshop is a tangible manifestation of Jamkrindo's support for MSMEs in Indonesia in the form of training and consultation in order to improve the skills and knowledge of human resources for MSME actors, so that it is easier to regulate and develop businesses, said Anggit, in a press release Thursday, September 21. In addition, MSME actors are equipped with materials regarding the management of financial reports and utilization of the use of Google my business as a means of digital marketing. Currently, said Anggit, MSMEs in Indonesia are experiencing various main problems, namely capital, product distribution, quality/competency of human resources, innovation, online marketing optimization, financial recording, and information related to financial institutions.
Jamkrindo understands the difficulties faced by Indonesian MSME actors. For this reason, we provide training on the importance of financial management to digitally recording financial reports. This digital financial listing tool will make it easier for MSMEs to record transactions without the need to understand the basics of accounting," he said.
Then, in this workshop, a decent MSME platform socialization is also carried out which is an analysis tool for the feasibility of MSMEs' businesses and is a platform to bridge MSME players from participating in training around the business world. Aggit explained, as the largest guarantee company in Indonesia, Jamkrindo continues to innovate to increase the financial accessibility of MSMEs and cooperatives by presenting a decent MSMEs' marketplace.
