Ace Hardware, Retail Company Owned By Conglomerate Kuncoro Wibowo Will Open 15 New Outlets In 2023

JAKARTA - The company owned by conglomerate Kuncoro Wibowo, PT ACE Hardware Indonesia Tbk (ACES), which is a business unit from Kawan Lama Group, has opened 5 new stores until the beginning of the second quarter of 2023. By the end of this year, the company is targeting to open 10-15 new outlets.

The addition of 5 new ACES stores for the January-April 2023 period was present in various areas such as Tarakan, Batoh Aceh, Denpasar, Gianyar, and Singkawang.

The expansion of this store is in line with the experience of shopping for omni-channels presented by ACES to customers. ACES applies a seamless shopping system and is integrated between online and offline in more than 230 stores throughout Indonesia.

Director of ACE Hardware Indonesia, Gregory S. Widjaja said, the expansion of this store will expand ACES' coverage to provide convenience and experience in shopping for ACE products.

"This expansion strategy is expected to further strengthen ACES' revenue growth, which as of 2022 reached IDR 6.7 trillion", Gregory said in an official statement, quoted on Thursday, April 27.

He further added that two of the five stores that have been opened from January to April 2023 are new market share for ACES, namely Singkawang, West Kalimantan and Tarakan, North Kalimantan.

Seeing the public's positive response to the opening of ACES' five latest stores, the company targets to open 10-15 stores to improve business performance by 2023.
