KJEJ Collaborates With Bank DKI And LPS To Hold Compensation Events For Orphans

JAKARTA - Ahead of Eid Al-Fitr 1444 H, the Jakarta Economic Journalists Club (KJEJ) held a breaking of the fast together and compensation for orphans from the Yauma Orphanage, Kemayoran, Central Jakarta at the D'Arci Hotel Cempaka Putih, April 16, 2023.

The Chief Executive of the event as well as the Chairman of KJEJ Windarto said that the implementation of the baby's experience and compensation was held to enliven the month of Ramadan and Towards Eid Al-Fitr 1444 H.

So far, we have held more activities in the form of discussions and webinars. This time, we want to make the momentum of Ramadan fasting to share with orphans. In addition, the moment to stay in touch between the media and thebukber activities and provide compensation to orphans will be our new portfolio of activities," said Windarto in his official statement, Monday, April 17.

In the event, each orphan who was present was given compensation in the form of cash and a goodie bag containing a school bag.

"We are grateful for our good intentions to get a positive response from our media friends, Bank DKI, LPS and PT Food Station Tjipinang Jaya who later became sponsors of our activities. Hopefully the compensation we provide to orphans can be useful for them," he said.

In the future, the following year, he said, his party wants to make the Bukber event with media friends and compensation for orphans as routine activities.

"Just pray with much better preparation, we want the implementation of bukber and compensation activities for orphans to run better, among others, by involving much more orphans, for example," he said.

Dimas Yuliharto, Secretary of LPS stated that his party continues to support the activities of fellow Pewarta colleagues who usually cover with LPS, especially if they break the fast with the Jakarta Economic Journalists Club (KJEJ) to coincide with the momentum of Ramadan to Eid al-Fitr.

"This momentum (Ramadan) by providing compensation to orphans together with KJEJ is a very noble activity and is part of the LPS' goal to provide as many benefits to the community as possible, especially orphans and the poor.

According to Dimas, the good collaboration between LPS and fellow reporters is very strategic, considering the important role of the mass media in the form of reporting to the socialization of LPS policies to the public.

Meanwhile, Bank DKI Corporate Secretary Arie Rinaldi expressed his appreciation and support for the holding of iftar activities with the Jakarta Economic Journalists Club (KEJ) as a momentum for friendship with fellow journalists who have always supported Bank DKI news and publications.

"Hopefully there will always be good collaboration between Bank DKI and fellow journalists, considering the important role of fellow journalists in presenting information in a transparent, accurate and clear manner," said Arie.
