PTPP Shares Free Food Packages For Workers And Holds Ramadan Safari Program

JAKARTA PT PP (Persero) Tbk distributed free basic food packages to workers in the company environment. The assistance was given as a tangible manifestation of the company's concern for workers.

In addition, the provision of food packages is expected to help ease the economic burden on workers in this month of Ramadan. The distribution of the free basic food packages was held on Wednesday, April 5 at the Company Headquarters, Jakarta.

The symbolic distribution of basic necessities was handed over directly by Novel Arsyad as President Director, Agus Purbianto as Director of Finance & Management Risko, and Anton Satyo Hendriatmo as Director of Operations for PTPP Buildings to workers in the head office environment.

In the distribution of the free food packages, PTPP distributed 450 packages. Where in the food packages distributed to the workers contained five kg of premium rice, two kg of sugar, one liter of cooking oil, one can of sardines, five instant noodles, one bottle of silent, one box of teabags, one coffee box, and one bottle of hand sanitizer.

The food packages were distributed directly to workers around the company's office environment, consisting of Office Boy, Cleaning Service, Driver, Security, Parkman, Mosque Management, etc.

In this month of Ramadan full of blessings, PTPP together with BUMN and the Ministry of SOEs also held a Safari Ramadan BUMN program in Jabodetabek. There are several programs for Ramadan Safari activities carried out by SOEs, including: sales of cheap food packages, opening free homecoming registration booths, and MSME bazaars.

Last week, PTPP conducted one of the Ramadan Safari activities, namely by selling cheap food packages to the community around the office located in East Jakarta. The event was held on Wednesday 29 March located at the Gedong Open Field, East Jakarta.

In the program, PTPP provides 1,000 cheap food packages containing 5 kg of rice, 1 liter of cooking oil, and 1 kg of sugar. The cheap food packages are sold simultaneously by SOEs at a price of IDR 55,000 per package.

The money from the sale of the cheap basic food packages will later be donated back to social activities and the provision of public infrastructure assistance to the community.

PTPP also held the Ramadan 'Blessing to Friends of Local PP (KETUPPAT) program. The activities of KETUPPAT Ramadhan are held regularly every Friday.

PTPP has also realized the assistance to Dompet Yatim and Dhuafa (Domyadhu) in Ciracas, East Jakarta on Friday, March 31 and the Tamamul Ihsan Foundation in Ciracas, East Jakarta on Friday 6 April.

Still in the KETUPPAT Ramadhan program, on Friday, April 14, next week PTPP will again provide assistance to Indonesian Orphanage Al-Fajr located in Ciracas, East Jakarta. The assistance provided by the company to the two foundations is in the form of cash compensation, social assistance, and box food for breaking the fast.

"The provision of assistance in the form of food packages aims to help and relieve others, especially the community and workers who are in the company environment. This activity is expected to provide benefits and blessings in the month of Ramadan for the community and workers," said Bakhtiyar Efendi as Corporate Secretary of PTPP.

"The activities of Safari Ramadhan BUMN and KETUPPAT Ramadan are part of the efforts of the Government and BUMN to ease the burden on the community ahead of Eid. As a state-owned company that cares about others, PTPP will participate and play an active role in supporting these social programs," he added.
