JAKARTA - The government through the Minister of Finance (Menkeu) Sri Mulyani said that the revenue target in the 2023 State Revenue and Expenditure Budget Plan (RAPBN) was IDR 2.266.7 trillion to IDR 2.398.8 trillion.

"This target is still dominated by tax revenues with an estimate of IDR 1.884.6 trillion to IDR 1.967.4 trillion," said the Minister of Finance at the Senayan Parliament Complex, Jakarta during a Working Meeting with the Budget Agency (Banggar) of the House of Representatives (DPR), Tuesday, May 31.

The state treasurer also disclosed that the Non-State Tax Revenue sector is believed to reach IDR 380.1 trillion to IDR 427.3 trillion.

"While next year's grants are projected to reach IDR 2 trillion to IDR 4.1 trillion," she said.

In terms of spending, the government's estimate in the RAPBN reaches IDR 2.795.9 trillion to IDR 2.993.4 trillion. This value is allocated to central government expenditures of IDR 1.995.7 trillion to IDR 2.161.1 trillion, and to transfers to regions of IDR 800.2 trillion to IDR 832.4 trillion.

"With these state revenues and expenditures, the budget deficit is estimated at IDR 529.2 trillion to IDR 594.6 trillion or approximately 2.62 percent to 2.90 percent of GDP (gross domestic product) in accordance with the provisions below 3 percent," she insisted.

Furthermore, the state treasurer explained that the difference in the need for next year's state budget will be financed through the withdrawal of net debt and investment.

"The debt ratio will be at the level of 40.58 percent to 42.42 percent of GDP," she said.

"The 2023 APBN architecture is designed for fiscal consolidation while still supporting the strengthening of recovery and structural reforms in order to support economic transformation," closed the Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani.
