JAKARTA The Indonesian Badminton Association (PBSI) has officially released the names of the latest coaches after going through the recruitment process since early December 2024.

The announcement of the list of coaches who will enter the PBSI Cipayung National Training Center (Pelatnas), East Jakarta, will be carried out by the federation on Friday, December 20, 2024, afternoon WIB.

A total of 20 names were selected through the recruitment system to fill the five sectors, each with four names in each sector. This includes the main level and level of prime.

"Yesterday there were approximately 51 coaches who registered and finally 20 names entered," said Deputy Chairperson I of PBSI, Taufik Hidayat, at a press conference in Cipayung, East Jakarta.

Handoyo will be assisted by assistant coach Marleve Mainaky, a former men's singles player who helped Indonesia win the Thomas Cup on three consecutive occasions (1998, 2000, and 2002).

Then the women's singles number will be led by Imam Tohari, who is a former mixed doubles specialist. He will be assisted by assistant coach Nunung Subandoro.
