The Lombok batik nuances will decorate the livery on the Honda LCR motorcycle that will be driven by Alex Rins.

Nitin Mengi as Managing Director of PT Castrol explained that the decision to present Livery with a special Lombok batik design to welcome the MotoGP series which has been held twice at the Mandalika Circuit.

Nitin also explained that this was done as a form of appreciation and a small way to introduce local Indonesian culture in the eyes of the world.

"We did design this specifically to appreciate Indonesia. We want the international world to see Indonesia. On motorbikes and on wearpacks, LCR riders have the words 'Go Indonesia' and we also embedded elements of Lombok typical batik," he said at the launch of the new design of the Honda LCR motorcycle in the Sudirman area, Central Jakarta on Wednesday, October 11.

For livery used by special LCR Honda at the Mandalika Circuit, it will be dominated by green, white and red colors that present the Castrol logo. Meanwhile, the placement of the Lombok batk design is in the lower hull of the motorbike which will be exposed if the motor is driven in a cornering position.

Apart from the livery of the motorbike, the Lombok batik design will also be seen on the back of the racing costume which will later be worn by Alex Rins. This breakthrough itself becomes a new color for LCR Honda when appearing at the Mandalika Circuit.
