Britain had the opportunity to win Euro 2028 at home after the proposals by the United Kingdom and Ireland were approved to host the next European football championship. This is an opportunity for the UK to remove the disappointment of Euro 2020, where they only lost on penalties at Wembley.

Kane, who will turn 34, plans to keep playing at that time and wants to improve his painful result against Italy two years ago.

Asked if England had an unfinished task at home tournaments, Kane replied, "I think so, we are so close to achieving something very special at the last Euro. It's football, it doesn't end the way we want it to be, but there must be more push in us."

Kane then highlighted the positive experience of the England national team during Euro 2020 playing at Wembley, despite the limited audience due to the COVID-19 pandemic. "We had an extraordinary experience during Euro 2020 playing six games at Wembley, so it felt like home tournament for us," he said.

"Now, with the stadium full and all the supporters there, with the country excited, it will help. That will be our main goal. Winning a tournament with your national team is indeed difficult, but doing it at home will be an achievement in itself," he said.

"We saw that in Lioness too. I was in the final and saw how much it meant to the supporters. The atmosphere inside and outside the stadium allowed Lioness to win. That will be our main goal," said the Bayern Munich striker.
