Real Madrid Gusur Barcelona From The Top Of The Standings, But There Are Still Those Who Block In Carlo Ancelotti's Heart

JAKARTA - Real Madrid returned to the top of the 2023/2024 Spanish La Liga standings after defeating Real Sociedad, Monday, September 18, early morning WIB. Appearing in front of his supporters who packed the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium, Los Blancos narrowly won 2-1.

This result made Real Madrid maintain their positive record in La Liga by sweeping five games with a win. Carlo Ancelotti's side are now at the top of the table with 15 points.

Los Blancos shift Barcelona's eternal rival at the top of the standings. In the sixth week of La Liga Spain, both teams will stab each other to fight for the top position.

Despite winning and returning to the top of the standings, Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti did not seem happy. Instead, he was disturbed by the performance of his team, especially the defense.

"The good thing is that we are able to rise, but we have to avoid this situation, and try harder as we did today," said Ancelotti, as reported by Marca.
