Elkan Baggott's Enthusiasm Ahead Of The First Match Of The Indonesian National Team In The U-23 Asian Cup Qualification

JAKARTA - The U-23 Indonesian national team player, Elkan Baggott, was so excited to undergo training ahead of the U23 Asian Cup Qualification match on Saturday, September 9. The England club defender Ipswich Town feels ready to face Taiwan U-23, Garuda's first opponent Easy.

In the U-23 Asian Cup Qualification, Indonesia is the host and is in Group K with Taiwan and Turkmenistan. The entire match will be held centrally at the Manahan Stadium, Solo.

Baggott, who first tested Manahan Stadium for the first time, then gave a positive impression.

"We just did training, it's to prepare the players who will play in the match against Taiwan," Elkan Baggott said, quoted from Antara.

"The field conditions at the Solo Manahan Stadium are also good. We have never been to the Manahan Stadium before but I think the stadium is very good," he continued.

With the thorough preparation that has been undertaken, Baggott admitted that he was eager to appear in the U-23 Asian Cup Qualifiers. Realizing that this agenda is very important for the Garuda Muda Squad, he is determined to give his best for the ticket to the final round.

"Regarding playing hours, I want to try my best to join the team. So, I try to work hard in training and hope I get the opportunity to start," said the player who plays the defender. "Our target is to finish as far as we can for this round. So we need to win the game. I try to give the best for the team, so we train very hard. This is a good opportunity for us," he concluded.
