JAKARTA Indonesian football parent PSSI officially launched the social media account of the Indonesian football national team to coincide with the 78th Anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Indonesia.
The launch, which took place on Thursday, August 17, 2023, aims to build a closeness between the Indonesian national team and football lovers throughout the country.
"This official Indonesian national team account was presented with the aim of bringing the PSSI Football National Team closer to all football lovers in Indonesia, which amounts to more than 70 percent of the population in the Republic of Indonesia," said PSSI.
The official social media account for the Indonesian football national team will be filled with various activities and matches, both from the men's national team and also the women's national team from all age groups.
The beach football national team, the e-Sport national team, and various social and commercial activities of the Indonesian Football National Team, will also decorate this social media page.
In addition, PSSI's social media accounts will remain active in providing various information about corporate activities, youth development, coaching development, referee development, amateur competition, infrastructure development, and special activities including the U-17 World Cup which will be held in Indonesia.
"We present this Indonesian national team account to all football lovers in Indonesia," said PSSI General Chair Erick Thohir.
