Nate Diaz Vs Conor McGregor Trilogy Will Happen, But When?

JAKARTA - Nate Diaz has confirmed she will fight trilogy with her old rival Conor McGregor before retiring. He conveyed this before losing to Jake Paul in the boxing ring.

Both fighters took part in the two most memorable fights in UFC history in 2016.

Diaz gave McGregor his first octagon defeat with a spectacular lock win at UFC 196. However, failed to repeat it four months later.

Fans around the world fear the couple will never finish their competition once Diaz leaves the UFC, late last year.

But Diaz, who will face Jake Paul in a boxing match this weekend, insists they will fight again. He even believes 100 percent of the fight against McGregor will happen.

McGregor has not set foot in the cage since his leg broke in a trilogy fight with Dustin Poirier two years ago. The Notorious is scheduled to fight Michael Chandler in a comeback fight later this year.

Diaz doesn't care who the Irish opponent is in his comeback fight. But wanting to see his old rival make his competitive performance flow with a convincing win.

"I'm ready to see him back there and do something cool too. [But] I don't know if the fight will happen. I heard [it didn't happen]. I don't know," Diaz said.

"It would be cool if he came back there and handled some dirt, it would be tight. Not many people do a lot of things there. So it's cool if people do better things," he continued.

UFC icon McGregor is very happy with the prospect of renewing his competition with Diaz. In his tweet, he said he was ready to do a trilogy with Diaz.

"Despite that nonsense, my match and Nate will finish the trilogy. I will immediately win the BMF belt so that we can compete for it in the trilogy," he said.
