Inter Milan Ready To Recruit Yann Sommer From Bayern Munich As A Substitute For Andre Onana

JAKARTA - Inter Milan is reportedly soon to get goalkeeper Yann Sommer from Bayern Munich to replace Andre Onana who moves to Manchester United. Sommer will dock to Inter for 6 million euros or equivalent to IDR 100.2 billion, as reported Fabrizio Romano via Twitter account, Friday 4 August. Yann Sommer to Inter, here we go! Agreement with a total cost of 6 million, wrote Romano. The 34-year-old goalkeeper will arrive in Italy on Sunday 6 August and will undergo a medical test the next day or Monday 7 August local time. In July 2014, Sommer then wore the Bundesliga club or German League Borussia Monchengladbach uniform. During the 8.5 season with Monchengladbach, the 1.83-meter-high goalkeeper made 335 appearances in all competitions with 90 cleansheets. In January, Sommer was then recruited by Bundesliga giant Bayern Munich. Half a season with Bavarians, Sommer performed 25 times in all competitions with a record of eight cleansheets and won one German League title 2022/2023. Meanwhile, at the level of the Swiss national team, Sommer had 83 caps by appearing in two major events, namely three World Cups (2014, 2018, and 2022) and twice at Euro (2016 and 2021). The goalkeeper who was born on December 17, 1988 has become Switzerland's best footballer three times to be exact in 2016, 2018, and 2021.
