AEON MALL BADMINTON CUP 2023 Involve Indonesian Badminton Heroes

JAKARTA - The second series of AEON MALL BADMINTON CUP 2023 held by AEON MALL INDONESIA began on July 12 to 16. Similar to the first series of holding AEON MALL BADMINTON CUP 2023 at AEON Mall Jakarta Garden City and AEON Mall Tanjung Barat, this tournament will again compete in two numbers, namely men's singles and women's singles.

This time, as many as 16 male participants and 16 female participants who will fight for the title came from schools within the AEON Mall BSD City area. This tournament is also inseparable from the support of three Olympic gold medalist badminton players, namely Susi Susanti, Alan Budikusuma, and Tontowi Ahmad, as well as 2016 All England champion Debby Susanto.

In the second series of tournaments, a Grand Final will also be held which brings together the men's and women's champions from AEON Mall Jakarta Garden City, AEON Mall Tanjung Barat, and AEON Mall BSD City. They will show their best abilities in the arena of matches to win the first edition title AEON MALL BADMINTON CUP with a total prize worth more than IDR 46 million. The enthusiasm of the community, especially parents and families in supporting these young athletes, is very high, in previous matches at AEON Mall Tanjung Barat and AEON Mall Jakarta Garden City. The committee is ready to welcome dozens of badminton players who will compete from the first day on Wednesday 12 July to the top party on Sunday 16 July. All matches will be held in two fields located at AEON Mall BSD City.

In addition to the competition between men and women's athletes starting from the round of 16, "AEON MALL INDONESIA BADMINTON CUP 2023" also presented gold medalists at the Rio 2018 Olympics Tontowi Ahmad, Debby Susanto, Neng Mawar, and Shanju ex JKT48. They will enliven the "Fun Match" on Sunday 16 July which competes in mixed doubles.

In addition to the badminton tournament, AEON MALL Indonesia also held a "Juggling Challenge", a fighting action competition or shuttlecock which was carried out along the edge of the badminton field line. How come this juggling action was carried out back and forth three times.

Every participant who won the "Juggling Challenge", had the opportunity to get shopping vouchers from AEON Mall or Yonex products worth IDR 2 million or one ticket for cruise ship vouchers for three days and two nights from Resort World Cruise.
