Shin Tae-Yong Asks President Jokowi To Help Accelerate The Naturalization Process Of 3 Players For The U-20 Indonesian National Team

JAKARTA - The coach of the U-20 Indonesian National Team, Shin Tae-yong, hopes that the naturalization process for the three players currently underway can be completed quickly. The power of the three is really needed by the coach from South Korea.

The three players who are planned to be naturalized to strengthen the U-20 Indonesian National Team are Ivar Jerner, Justin Hubner, and Rafael Struick. The files of the three are reportedly already on the desk of the Ministry of State Secretariat.

However, there has been no significant progress since the naturalization process for the three was submitted. That made Shin Tae-yong uneasy.

He said the naturalization process for the three players was a little late. "Therefore, I ask the President's attention so that the naturalization process for these three players can be accelerated so that they can immediately join the team," Shin told reporters.

"Thus, I can prepare the team well. To be honest, at this time, there is very little time to form a good team," he continued.

The former coach of the Korean national team has asked President Joko Widodo and Menpora Zainudin Amali to pay attention. The reason is, the U-20 World Cup is increasingly in sight.

"I also ask all parties, so that they can quickly naturalize (the three of them)," he said again.

Shin Tae-yong's efforts to form a good team were faced with a number of problems. Previously, he was disappointed because several clubs did not immediately release their players after being summoned to attend a training camp in early February.

Even today, there are two players who have not yet joined. They are Marcelino Ferdinand and Muhammad Ferrari.

Marselino is still in Europe with his new club, KMSK Deinze. Meanwhile, Ferrari has not been released by Persija Jakarta.
