JAKARTA - UFC star Paddy Pimblett was asked which footballer he would like to play against and the answer was two Portuguese players, with the Liverpool athlete finally choosing Bernardo Silva.
Pimblett is known to be a huge Liverpool fan and the reason he chose the Portugal international was down to a specific incident involving Silva and his beloved Reds.
The UFC fighter admits that, if this question had been asked 12 months earlier, he would have picked another rival star, Manchester United's Bruno Fernandes, but explained why that has now changed.

Pimblett recalled how, when Liverpool won the Premier League and hosted Manchester City in their next game, Silva was the only player who refused to applaud the Reds in a guard of honor.
