JAKARTA - Lenovo's Ducati rider, Francesco Bagnaia, has the upper hand in the race for the 2022 MotoGP world title.
The determination of the champion will take place at the Ricardo Tormo Circuit, Valencia, on November 6. Bagnaia only needed two points to seal world champion status.
Last season, Valentino Rossi's student managed to grab the championship podium. The score made Bagnaia even more favourite.
"A very important weekend for us is about to start, but I arrive in Valencia with calm," Bagnaia told Ducati's official website as quoted by Antara, Thursday, November 3.
"The Ricardo Tormo circuit is a track where we were fast last year, and on paper, this circuit fits the characteristics of our bike," he continued.
Bagnaia admitted, in a more advantageous position compared to the previous race, the Malaysian MotoGP. However, he didn't want to be complacent.
"We are in a more favorable situation than Malaysia, but we have to stay focused until the end and work well from the first session to give our best in the race," concluded Bagnaia.
