UEFA Nations League Recap: Spain Reach Top 4 Thanks To Alvaro Morata's Goal

JAKARTA - The Spanish national team has successfully penetrated the semifinals of the UEFA Nations League. This is thanks to the victory over Portugal in the last match, Wednesday, September 28, early morning WIB.

The Spanish national team needs a win to penetrate the top four. Before the match started, Spain was two points behind Portugal.

With this victory, Spain overtook Portugal to top the Group 2 standings. An additional three points made La Furia Roja close the group phase with 11 points.

They are one point ahead of Portugal who finished second. This result is certainly painful for Portugal, which was already two points ahead.
