JAKARTA - Real Madrid is still firmly at the top of the Spanish La Liga standings until the fifth round is played last weekend.

A 4-1 victory over Real Mallorca in the fifth week brought Los Blancos to the top of the standings with 15 points. Madrid is still too strong.

In the five matches that have been played in La Liga, Carlo Ancelotti's men are unbeaten and have never played a draw.

Meanwhile, the second position in the standings is occupied by Real Madrid's arch-rivals, Barcelona. The Blaugrana won 4-0 when they traveled to Cadiz headquarters.

The victory made them now collect 13 points, the result of four wins and one draw.

While Real Betis continued their surprise by continuing to perch in third position. In this fifth week, Betis were able to beat Villarreal with a score of 1-0 at home.
