Eliminate Japan's Representative In Malaysia Open 2022 Round Of 16, Jonathan Christie: As Planned

JAKARTA - Jonatan Christie stepped into the quarter-finals of the Malaysia Open 2022 after eliminating the Japanese representative, Kenta Nishimoto, Thursday, June 30. The seventh seed won two straight games, 21-18 and 21-17.

Jonathan Christie admitted that he was more comfortable playing in this match. He said the field adaptation was going better than before.

"The field conditions are also much better, the wind is not too strong and finally makes the game more exciting", said Jonatan Christie in a release issued by PBSI after the match.

The player from DKI Jakarta revealed that the match against Nishimoto went according to plan. He felt he could apply the right strategies and playing patterns.
