JAKARTA - Indonesia successfully won 4-1 over Thailand in the second match of Group A of the 2022 Thomas Cup. This victory made the Red and White squad secure a ticket to the quarter-finals.

The duel of Indonesia versus Thailand was presented at Impact Arena, Bangkok, Thailand, on Monday, May 9 evening. Indonesia lost the first point in the men's singles to Anthony Sinisuka Ginting before getting four other wins.

Shesar Hiren Rhustavito, who played in the fifth match, also succeeded in picking up points. He won in straight sets 21-19 and 21-14 against Sitthikom Thammasin.

Furthermore, Indonesia will face South Korea in the final match of the group stage. Both teams will win the status of group winners in the duel.
