Miguel Oliveira On His Future At KTM: We Have To Make It Clear On May, Whether To Stay Together Or Not

JAKARTA - KTM racer, Miguel Oliveira, does not want to rush in determining his future. There is still time to think before making a decision.

Miguel Oliveira said it was too early to talk about his future at KTM. "I think we still have until May to decide the future," he said, as quoted by Motosan.

"That doesn't mean we can't talk after May. But I would say that in May we have to make it clear whether we want to stay together or not."

According to him, this is normal. For Oliveira, this is standard procedure for all riders, so it's not a secret.

Miguel Oliveira has become one of the hot commodities in the MotoGP rider market. The 27-year-old's performance attracted the interest of other factory teams.

However, the Portuguese rider has given a signal that he prefers to stay at KTM. He admitted that he wanted to contribute more to this project.

"That's my number one goal. We'll see if we can achieve that goal with KTM," said the 2022 Mandalika MotoGP winner.

"This is the place I want to be. I want to be a place where I can do anything for the team, where I feel I have value."

"I want to feel that I can contribute something to the team. If these conditions are right, this is the perfect marriage," he concluded.
