4 Manchester United Players Receive The Highest Paid In The Premier League: Cristiano Ronaldo Earns IDR 9.6 Billion Per Week!

JAKARTA – The nominal salary received by Manchester United players has been leaked to the public. In the report, four Red Devils players entered the list of the top five highest-earning players in the Premier League.

The leak of documents related to the Manchester United player's salary was first reported by the French newspaper, L'Equipe, earlier this week.

It is known, Cristiano Ronaldo, David de Gea, Jadon Sancho, and Raphael Varane respectively occupy the first, third, fourth, and fifth positions in the list of big-earning players in England. Only Kevin de Bruyne is in the top five of players outside Old Trafford.

The L'Equipe report is not far from the truth. This was supported by Spotrac, who confirmed Ronaldo to be the highest-earning player.

Cristiano Ronaldo is said to be receiving 510.000 pounds per week (IDR 9.6 billion) or the equivalent of 2.63 million euros per month (IDR 41.4 billion), L'Equipe reported.

Then De Gea reportedly received 375.000 Pounds Sterling (IDR 7.1 billion) every week. In the next position is Sancho who gets 350 thousand Pounds Sterling (IDR 6, 6 billion) per seven days.

While Varane received 340.000 Pounds Sterling (IDR 6.4 billion) and Paul Pogba completed the top five for Man United for a fee of 290 thousand Pounds Sterling (IDR 5.4 billion).

Pogba's contract expires in the summer and he is expected to leave the club on a free. Although it has not been confirmed, many clubs have approached.

Bruno Fernandes also received a sizable salary at Manchester United. Ronaldo's compatriot is reportedly earning £180,000 per week and is expected to increase again.

The former Sporting Lisbon player is reportedly set to sign a new contract with an offer of £240 per week (IDR 4.5 billion). However, a number of people think the fee is not appropriate for the 27-year-old player.

On the other hand, United fans will probably wonder how the likes of Juan Mata and Nemanja Matic are still at a club earning over £100,000 per week. The reason is that the contribution of these names to the team has been minimal in recent years.
