Having Passed The Medical Test, AC Milan Player Franck Kessie Will Soon Join Barcelona: His Salary Is IDR 102 Billion!

JAKARTA - AC Milan player, Franck Kessie, is just waiting for the time to move to Barcelona. Reportedly, the player has passed a medical test and signed a contract with the Spanish La Liga club.

Reporting from Fabrizio Romano's Twitter, football transfer expert from Italy, Kessie is tied to a contract for four seasons. He will be at Camp Nou at least until June 2026.

The player from the Ivory Coast will receive a salary of 6.5 million euros (approximately IDR 102 billion). That does not include bonuses and others.

Romano revealed, Kessie will move from AC Milan to Barcelona as a free agent. This means that the Italian Serie A club will not get anything from Barcelona for this transfer.

With this deal, Barcelona won the hunt for Kessie. Previously, there were several clubs that had approached the 25-year-old player, including Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur, and Paris Saint-Germain.

After Kessie, Barcelona will now focus on signing two Chelsea stars, namely Andreas Christensen and Cesar Azpilicueta. The opportunity to get two defenders is quite open considering the current condition of Chelsea.

While AC Milan does not seem too insistent on immediately looking for a replacement for Kessie. Stefano Pioli's club is actually busy looking for new forwards.

Liverpool striker Divock Origi is said to be in AC Milan's uniform next season. The club nicknamed I Rossoneri is also approaching Napoli forward Eljif Elmas.
