Take Notes! This Is The Entry Flow For The Mandalika MotoGP Audience

MANDALIKA - The Mandalika MotoGP race will be held on March 18-20. This race is predicted to attract a lot of spectators, both from within the country and motorcycle racing lovers from abroad.

This is not the first time that the Mandalika Circuit has held a world-class race. Previously, this circuit of the pride of the Indonesian people had held a Superbike race, in November 2021.

However, it is believed that the organizers do not have enough experience to manage the number of spectators that are predicted to explode. Because during the Superbike race, only a handful of people can watch.

However, it is believed that the organizing committee is ready to arrange everything, including the entry flow for spectators who will watch the Mandalika MotoGP racing event.

As reported by Antara, PT Indonesia Tourism Developer (Persero) ITDC and Mandalika Grand Prix Association (MGPA) have determined the audience entry flow according to the tickets they bought. This is to minimize the crowd of vehicles and people entering and leaving the circuit area.

"We have discussed the implementation of this audience flow with the West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Transportation Service and the NTB Police to make it more integrated," said Managing Director of The Mandalika, Bram Subiandoro in an official statement.

"In addition to minimizing the number of spectators who are too many at one point, it is also to bring the audience as close as possible to the location of the Grandstand according to the tickets they bought," he continued.

Meanwhile, the Transportation Service and the NTB Police have provided feeder buses to enter and exit the Mandalika area with a number of routes. These include the Selaparang – The Mandalika route, the Kayangan Harbor route – The Mandalika, the Hajj Embarkation route – The Mandalika, the Zainuddin AbdulMadjid – The Mandalika route, the Bangsal Harbor route – The Mandalika, the Lembar Harbor route – The Mandalika, and the Gili Mas Harbor route – The Mandalika.

Each route is supported by three types of buses with red, blue and green stickers that will take viewers directly to the East Parking and West Parking inside The Mandalika area.

The details are as follows:

Bus with red sticker goes to East Parking for spectators with Grandstand tickets zones A, B, C, H.

Meanwhile, buses with blue stickers go to East Parking for spectators with Grandstand tickets for zones D, E, F, G, and General Admission.

Then the bus with the green sticker goes to the West Parking for spectators with Grandstand tickets for zones I, J, and K.

The committee also prepared a flow of spectators who brought private vehicles. Grandstand and General Admission ticket holders will receive red, blue and green vehicle stickers.

Meanwhile, the audience for the VIP Hospitality Suites category; Premier Class and Deluxe Class will get black and gray vehicle stickers. Stickers can be picked up on March 18-20 at the Hajj Ex-Embarkation, in front of the D'Max hotel, Praya, Central Lombok.

After receiving the sticker, the audience will be directed to one of the pockets of the West Parking, East Parking, and a parking area spread over 16 points depending on the ticket conditions for each audience.

The parking lots can accommodate 8,900 four-wheeled vehicles and 3,000 two-wheeled vehicles.

Grandstand and General Admission Tickets

Grandstand and General Admission e-tickets can be exchanged earlier on March 16-17 at the former Selaparang Airport, Mataram to avoid long queues.

On race day March 18-20, spectators can also exchange tickets at the counters opened at the West Parking (Mandalika Bazaar area) and East Parking (Tanjung Aan area).

After getting a wristband, spectators are required to take the shuttle bus which is the transportation within the area to take them to the entrance of the circuit according to the location of the Grandstand.

Grandstand ticket holders for zones A, B, C, and H can take the red shuttle bus from the East Parking to go to gate one.

Grandstand spectators in zones D, E, F and G and General Admission use the blue-sticked shuttle to gate two. Meanwhile, Grandstand I, J and K spectators used the green-sticked shuttle to go to gate three.

The Transportation Agency and the NTB Regional Police will also prepare the isolation post area at 15 points spread inside and outside the Mandalika area.
