JAKARTA - Chairman of Commission II of the House of Representatives, Rifqinizamy Karsayuda, said that he had sent a letter to the leadership of the DPR and the Legislation Body (Baleg) of the DPR to draw up a package of political laws or Omnibus Law on politics.

"And we will carry out the evaluation at this time, long before 2029 and of course the results of the evaluation will produce various recommendations that will be important for Commission II of the DPR RI," he said.
During 2024, according to him, Commission II of the DPR received the most complaints related to election issues. Of the 495 complaints that came in during 2024, there were 201 complaints about elections, ranging from the presidential election, legislative election, to regional elections.
