Endus Efforts To Randomize Party Ahead Of Congress, Megawati Instructs PDIP Task Force To Be Alert 1

JAKARTA - The PDI-P DPP smells the efforts of certain parties who want to mess with internal parties ahead of the PDIP Congress next year. One of them is circulating billboards and banners with narratives attacking PDIP and its general chairman, Megawati Soekarnoputri.

Responding to this, the Chairperson of the PDI-P (PDIP) DPP for National Legal System Reform, Ronny Talapessy, said Megawati immediately instructed all PDIPs to be on standby 1.

"The billboards and banners were installed in strategic locations and on main routes, indicating the involvement of organized forces with great resource support," said Ronny at the PDIP DPP office, Jalan Diponegoro, Central Jakarta, Thursday, December 19.

Ronny emphasized that this was a serious concern for PDIP cadres and sympathizers because it reflected efforts to lead public opinion negatively. Ronny also said that billboards, banners and attacks on Megawati's General Chair made all PDIP cadres angry.

"With the circulation of billboards and banners that are inciting in nature, it has created a standby-1 condition within the PDI-P to react to efforts to 'wit' PDI-P ahead of the PDI-P Congress as stated by Mrs. Megawati Soekarnoputri," he said.

Ronny emphasized that the PDI-P is a legal political party according to the notary deed Number 05 dated 27 June 2024 and has received ratification through a Decree from the Minister of Law and Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia Number: M.HH-05.11.02 of 2024, dated July 1, 2024, concerning the Ratification of Changes in Structure, Composition, and Personalities of the Central Leadership Council of the Indonesian Democratic Party, Struggle for the 2019-2024 Bakti Period was Extended until 2025.

"This validity is undeniable and is a strong basis for the PDI-P in carrying out its political duties," he explained.

He also explained that if the extension of the management period of the PDI-P Central Executive Board had been carried out in accordance with Article 28 of the Party's Articles of Association and Article 15 of the Party's Household Budget, the extension of the management period became the prerogative of the General Chair mandated by the Party Congress and was stipulated in the 2024 PDI-P V National Working Meeting.

"We ask law enforcement officials to be able to regulate fair law to maintain national political stability," he added.
