Two Students In Tomang Arrested After Slashing Vocational High School Students With Sickles

JAKARTA - Two students at SMK Tomang with the initials AP (17) and PAF (17) were arrested by members of the Tanjung Duren Police after being proven to have stabbed the victim MR (16), a student at SMK Jelambar. The two perpetrators AP and PAF are children in conflict with the law (ABH).

The stabbing incident was carried out by the two perpetrators during a brawl between two groups of students on Jalan Kyai Tapa Raya, Grogol Petamburan, West Jakarta. The victim and the perpetrator were involved in a brawl.

Tanjung Duren Police Chief Kompol Muharram Wibisono said the incident began when the victim MR crossed Jalan Daan Mogot.

"The dispute arose between them, triggering a chase. When the victim rode a motorbike, the perpetrator quickly approached and slashed the victim's left back," said Kompol Wibisono, Tuesday, November 21.

As a result of the attack, the victim fell and hit the pavement on Jalan Kyai Tapa. Then the case was reported to the police regarding traffic accident victims.

"However, after the investigation, it was revealed that this was the result of the stabbing carried out by AP and PAF," he said.

Furthermore, the Tanjung Duren Police Criminal Investigation Unit conducted a crime scene investigation, examined witnesses, and analyzed CCTV camera footage. Then, the two suspects AP and PAF were arrested.

"Both, AP and PAF, have now been detained at the Tanjung Duren Police Headquarters. Both were charged with Article 170 of the Criminal Code regarding beatings," he said.
