Prior To The Stabbing At Pasar Rebo, The Perpetrators And Victims Were Involved In The Chase

The Pasar Rebo Police are still pursuing the perpetrator of the stabbing of a young man named Brata Kelana (25) who died covered in blood on Jalan Haji Marta, RT 12/10, Gedong Village, Pasar Rebo District, East Jakarta, Tuesday, November 21.

Pasar Rebo Police Chief Kompol Harris Akhmat Basuki said the identity of the alleged perpetrator has been identified and is still being chased by officers in the field.

"The alleged perpetrator has been investigated. Based on the information and witnesses at the TKP, the perpetrator has been identified, further investigation is still being carried out," he told reporters, Tuesday, November 21.

Meanwhile, the stabbing case that killed Brata Kelana began when there was a fight between the perpetrator and the victim. According to information received by VOI, the cause of the commotion was the fight for women between the two.

"Based on information from witnesses around the crime scene, there was a chase from a motorbike user on this road. Then, there was a struggle with someone, or a duel 1 against 1. Then (the victim) lay down," he said.

Furthermore, the victim was helped by several witnesses and taken to Pasar Rebo Hospital.

"The stab wound, based on temporary monitoring, had wounds on the chest and abdomen. The motive (has resulted) an argument," he said.

As previously reported, a young man named Brata Kelana (25) was found dead covered in blood on Jalan Haji Marta, RT 12/10, Gedong Village, Pasar Rebo District, East Jakarta, Tuesday, November 21. Ironically, no local residents know about the incident.

According to Adi, a local resident, he was not aware of the stabbing incident that occurred on the road of an alley beside his house. However, he heard a noise on Tuesday morning.

"Before 2 am, there was a commotion. If you want 3 o'clock there was a crash," Adi told VOI at the scene, Tuesday, November 21, noon.

According to Adi, he also heard the screams of thieves from outside his house. However, after receiving information, it turned out that what the thief shouted was suspected to be the perpetrator of the stabbing.

"In the morning, I just got the information, it turned out that the victim was my nephew," he said.
