Ganjar Encourages The Revitalization Of KUD To Make It Easier And Make Farmers Prosperous

Candidate for president Ganjar Pranowo admits the need to revitalize the Village Unit Cooperative (KUD) to solve the problem of the needs of farmers, especially regarding fertilizers, for the convenience and welfare of farmers.

This was conveyed when Ganjar was a resource person at a national gathering held by the Makassar State University Alumni Association at the Four Points Hotel, Kec. Tamalate, Makassar City, South Sulawesi, Saturday 18 November.

"In many places fertilizer is difficult, the price of rice is expensive, what I imagined, why don't we revive the KUD again?" said Ganjar to the applause of thousands of people present.

Ganjar highlighted the need to assist and train cooperative managers to become professionals. KUD, which is well managed, is expected to develop new entrepreneurs for farmers.

"I think it is necessary to revitalize its strength. And if we can do this, our farmers will have a lot of comfort, security, and even build entrepreneurs between them to be able to collaborate and complement each other," said Ganjar.

Ganjar also emphasized efforts to facilitate the establishment of cooperatives. This is so that people in various regions can establish more cooperatives, and provide other conveniences needed by the community through the KUD.

"And this is what we have to do so that they can get easier access, than, for more members to be given," said Ganjar.
