TPN Ganjar-Mahfud Ogah Black Campaign, Hasto: We Don't Know Dramas Like Ratna Sarumpaet Before

JAKARTA - Secretary of the National Winning Team (TPN) Ganjar-Mahfud MD, Hasto Kristiyanto emphasized that his party would not drama to gain support in the 2024 presidential election. The chairman of TPN Ganjar-Mahfud Arsjad Rasjid has also emphasized the same thing.

This statement was made by Hasto in response to the statement of the Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka National Campaign Team (TKN) regarding the integrity pact of the Acting Regent of Sorong, one of which was to win Ganjar. This camp alluded to the fact that it was TPN Ganjar-Mahfud who cheated on the findings.

"Oh, we don't (do things like that, ed). Earlier from Mr. Arsjad also emphasized that no black campaign," Hasto told reporters at the Sari Pan Pacific Hotel, Jakarta, Saturday, November 18.

Hasto emphasized that they would not manipulate any issues, including the drama. In fact, the Secretary General of the PDIP had mentioned the issue of Ratna Sarumpaet's violence which was busy in the 2019 presidential election.

It is known that Ratna Sarumpaet, who is a supporter of the Prabowo Subianto-Sandiaga Uno pair in the 2019 presidential election, had admitted to being abused. However, recently he was found to have facial surgery.

"We don't know the drama manipulation models in the past, there is Ratna Sarumpaet, and a new drama has emerged," he said.

"We are not experts in directing scriptwriters all at once. We have no experience there," continued Hasto.

Moreover, the acting regional head must be neutral. However, this position must be maintained because Hasto saw the current condition ahead of the 2024 presidential election.

As previously reported, the integrity pact signed by Acting Regent of Sorong Yan Piet Mosso was spread when he was caught in the KPK's arrest operation (OTT). The signing is known to the West Papua Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry Brigadier General TNI Silaban but no date has been included other than August 2023.

1. Fully support and implement the success of the central government program in the Sorong Regency Region;2. Will not commit criminal acts of corruption, collusion, and nepotism (KKN); 3. Fully reject all separatism activities and activities of the Free Papua movement in the region; 4. Ready to seek support and contribute votes in the 2024 presidential election, at least 60 percent + 1 for Ganjar Pranowo's victory as President of the Republic of Indonesia in Sorong Regency; 5. Willing to maintain complete confidentiality related to the creation of this Integrity Pact.
