Israeli Military Claims To Find Weapons At Al-Shifa Gaza Hospital, Hamas: Cheap Propaganda,

Senior military officials said Israeli soldiers found weapons and terror infrastructure in an attack on Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza, on Wednesday, which Palestinian militant groups denied as cheap propaganda.

He did not specify what was found or provided any visual evidence, but said it would be presented later.

The official, who declined to be named, told reporters there was no fighting inside the hospital complex after the army arrived at night, there were no disputes with medical staff or patients.

He did not say where the army was operating, but indicated they were in different parts of the location where medics and patients were located.

"The IDF army has found weapons and other terror infrastructure. In the past hour, we have seen clear evidence of Hamas using the Shifa hospital as the headquarters of terror," the official said.

Israeli officials said the army had carried out "precision and targeted operation" without saying how long it would last.

On the other hand, Palestinian militant group Hamas denies Israel's accusations, saying it was done to justify Israel's crimes.

"(This claim) is nothing but a continuation of lies and cheap propaganda, through which (Israel) seeks to justify its crimes aimed at destroying the health sector in Gaza," Hamas said in a statement.

Israel is known to have long accused Hamas of using Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza as a cover for operation, while hospitals have repeatedly denied this allegation.
