Polda Metro Doesn't Accept Coldplay Concert Reject Notifications, Make Sure Security Guarantees

JAKARTA - The National Anti Movement (Geranati) LGBT held a demonstration in the Gelora Bung Karno or SUGBK Main Stadium area with the demand for the cancellation of the Coldplay band concert. Polda Metro Jaya stated that it had not received any notification regarding the action.

"For today, there is no (action) related to the notification," said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko to reporters, Wednesday, November 15.

In addition, Geranati LGBT was asked to follow the rules of expressing opinions. In fact, if there is a violation, the police will take action according to the rules.

"However, the steps are of course the state of law, yes we follow the rules. If there is a violation, of course the legal procedures that we carry out in order to provide a sense of security and comfort," he said.

There are also around 3,906 joint personnel who have also been deployed to secure Coldplay concerts, including from the demonstration.

The details are 2,626 from Polda Metro, 299 personnel from Polres, and 981 BKO personnel from TNI AD and the Provincial Government (Pemprov) DKI Jakarta.
