Police Name Suspect In Rape Case Of Girl By Father, Grandpa And Uncle

The police finally named one person as a suspect in the alleged rape case against AP (17 years), the girl who reported her biological father, grandfather, and uncle.

The suspect is the victim's uncle, NI (39), a resident of Geger District, Madiun Regency, East Java.

The determination of the suspect was issued after the police conducted a series of investigations and examinations of a number of witnesses and the available evidence.

The police have named the man who works as a seller of LPG gas cylinders as the sole perpetrator of AP rape.

NI admitted to raping the victim because he could not stand his lecherous lust. Until finally he was desperate to rape the victim twice a week. Because of lust, every week twice, I didn't force it," said the NI perpetrator.

Madiun Police Chief, AKBP Anton Prasetyo, stated that after a series of investigations, only one perpetrator in the alleged rape case experienced by AP, namely NI as the uncle of the victim of AP. This is because a number of strong evidence only leads to the victim's uncle as the perpetrator of the rape of AP.

"From the deepening, this NI has raped the victim twice a week on average, so that approximately 60 to 80 times (raced) from 2021 to mid-August 2023," said Anton.

As a result of his actions, now NI must be imprisoned and will be charged with Article 81 and Article 82 concerning Child Protection, with a maximum penalty of 15 years in prison.

Reports of rape allegations committed by the victim's father and the victim's own grandfather are still being investigated. The police have not found any evidence to the two alleged perpetrators on reports from victims of AP.

"This is also corroborated by the testimony of witnesses and also some of the experts we are studying," explained Anton.

Anton added that the reason the victim AP reported his father and grandfather as suspected perpetrators of rape against him was motivated by heartache for his father and grandfather. According to the victim, AP was hurt to his grandfather because he was often scolded when the victim used a motorized vehicle to leave the house.

"If his father is often angry with this victim, so he wants to be free to live at home, we know that based on the testimony of witnesses, be it neighbors, or friends, this victim seems to want to live freely," added Anton.

Previously, the girl in Madiun reported her father, grandfather, and uncle on charges of rape of her. The victim, accompanied by a resident of Madiun, reported the incident to the Madiun District Police and stole the attention of the Minister of Social Affairs Tri Rismaharini who visited the victim firsthand.
