The implementation of this system is one of the efforts of I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport to support government programs in increasing non-cash transactions and to accelerate the development of digitalization at I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport.

"We have been carrying out efforts to support this non-cash transaction since 2021, at that time we implemented a cashless system. This means that it is not completely manless because there is still a process of taking a parking ticket at the vehicle entrance and handing it over to the officer at the exit," said Handy, Thursday, November 9.

"Meanwhile, as of December 1, the entire process began to enter and exit the vehicle by using services independently by attaching an electronic card, there was no parking ticket. This migration is also an effort to reduce the use of paper so that services at the airport are more environmentally friendly," he added.

For the initial stage, the implementation of manless parking on December 1, 2023, only applies to four or more wheeled vehicles. Meanwhile, two-wheeled vehicles still use a cashless system.

The electronic money cards that can currently be used for parking payments at I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport are e-Money Bank Mandiri, Brizzi from Bank BRI, Tap Cash from BNI, and Flazz from BCA. This electronic money can be bought and recharging its balance at the bank office or minimarket.
