JAKARTA - Coordinator of the Indonesian Anti-Corruption Society (MAKI) Boyamin Saiman will report Chairman of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Firli Bahuri to the Supervisory Board (Dewas) regarding renting a house on Jalan Kertanegara for IDR 650 million per year.

Boyamin assessed that Firli did not list the house rental payments in the State Administrators Wealth Report (LHKPN), as a violation of the code of ethics by KPK personnel.

"On the alleged non-compliance of Mr. Firli, this is a violation of the code of ethics and today MAKI will report it to the Supervisory Board through online facilities," Boyamin said in his statement, Saturday, November 4, which was confiscated by Antara.

Boyamin said the KPK is a state institution tasked with accepting LHKPN and reminded other state officials to comply with reporting LHKPN.

Therefore, it is fitting for the KPK leadership and all KPK personnel to be orderly in reporting LHKPN.

"KPK leaders must set an example in reporting all their assets and changes. This is very much needed exemplary and in this position what can be said as a form of accountability to the public that the KPK leadership is obedient," said Boyamin.

Previously, investigators from Polda Metro Jaya searched the house in Kertanegara number 46, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, regarding the alleged extortion case involving the KPK leadership against former Minister of Agriculture (Mentan) Syahrul Yasin Limpo (SYL). The house was later discovered to be used by KPK Chairman Firli Bahuri.

The police then said the house was rented in the name of Tirta Juwana Darmadji alias Alex Tirta from the owner of the house in the name of E.

Dirreskrimsus Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Pol Ade Safri Simanjuntak said Alex Tirta rented the house for around Rp. 650 million per year.

Based on these findings, Polda Metro Jaya investigators then summoned Alex Tirta for questioning regarding the investigation.

Alex Tirta then explained that the house on Jalan Kertanegara Number 46, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, was rented on his behalf.

"That I did rent the Kertanegara house and it was forwarded by him. But it was in my name. So I explained it to the investigators. So that's it," he said.
