KPK Prisoners Confirmed To Die Before Arriving At The Hospital

JAMBI - Raden Mattaher Jambi Regional General Hospital (RSUD) confirmed that the detainee of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), Agus Rama, who was entrusted to the Jambi Class II A Prison, died before arriving at the hospital.

Deputy Director (Wadir) of Public Service at Raden Mattaher Hospital Anton Trihartanto said the former member of the Regional Jambi Provincial DPRD of choice (Dapil) Tanjung Jabung Barat - Tanjung Jabung Timur, Agus Rama, who stumbled on the 2017-2019 corruption and bribery case of the Jambi RAPBD, arrived. the emergency room was already dead.

The patient had arrived at the ER dead or came in an unconscious condition and besides that there was no breath, no heart rate, dilatation pupils with no light stimulate and flat EKG.

"The patient was declared Death On Arrival (DOA) or in a state of death," said Anton as quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, November 1.

Agus Rama on Tuesday, October 24, 2023, was transferred from the KPK detention center in Jakarta to the Jambi Class IIA Penitentiary.

Agus Rama is a suspect in the bribery case against the Jambi Province RAPBD hammer involving the Jambi Governor at that time Zumi Zola.

Agus Rama died at around 07.05 WIB. He was found unconscious in the bathroom of the Jambi Class II A prison clinic. Allegedly due to falling in the bathroom, Agus Rama was immediately taken to Raden Mattaher Jambi Hospital.

At the ER RSUD, Agus Rama was declared dead at around 07.05 WIB.
