SYL Spends Five Hours Undergoing Investigation Of Cases Of Alleged Extortion Of KPK Leaders

JAKARTA - Former Minister of Agriculture Syahrul Yasin Limpo has completed the examination process at Bareskrim Polri. About five hours SYL was questioned as a witness in the alleged extortion case carried out by the KPK leadership.

Syahrul Yasin Limpo began to be questioned at around 14.00 WIB. Then, the NasDem Party cadre left the Bareskrim Polri building at 19.14 WIB.

Not a word has been conveyed by SYL. With the escort of KPK employees and several police officers, SYYL continued to walk through the crowd of journalists.

Before undergoing the examination, SYL had time to deliver a statement. Although, only about the purpose of coming to the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Police.

"I want to check first," said Syahrul Yasin Limpo, Tuesday, October 31.

A joint team from Polda Metro Jaya and the Directorate of Corruption Crimes at Bareskrim Polri will examine former Minister of Agriculture Syahrul Yasin Limpo or SYL as witnesses in the case of alleged extortion by the KPK leadership, today. The examination was carried out at Bareskrim Polri.

"The agenda (SYL examination) this afternoon," said Deputy Director of Corruption Crimes at Bareskrim Polri Kombes Arief Adhiharsa

Not only Syahrul Yasin Limpo, investigators will also examine two other witnesses. They are MH and IA.

MH is suspected of being the Director of Agricultural Equipment and Machinery Muhammad Hatta. Meanwhile, IA is the Head of Semarang Police, Kombes Irwan Anwar.

"There are (witnesses) MH and IA," said Arief.

In investigating the alleged extortion carried out by the KPK leadership against Syahruk Yasin Limpo, Polda Metro Jaya and the Directorate of Corruption Crimes, Bareskrim Polri have examined 55 witnesses.
