Prabowo-Gibran Surprise Next Week, Khofifah Joins?

JAKARTA - The Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka National Campaign Team will announce figures who will join next week, including well-known figures from East Java (East Java). The chairman of TKN Prabowo-Gibran, Rosan Roeslani, said the announcement would be a surprise. Responding to this, the Deputy of Bappilu DPP of the Democratic Party, Kamhar Lakumani, hopes that the East Java figure who will join is the Governor of East Java Khofifah Indar Parawansa.

"Hopefully the figure from East Java in question is Mrs. Khofifah Indar Parawansa being part of strengthening TPN Prabowo," said Kamhar to reporters, Sunday, October 30. Kamhar assessed that Khofifah was a strong national political figure in East Java. Therefore, according to him, it is only natural that Khofifah wants the respective poros of the presidential candidate.

"It is very natural that he is in demand by all candidate pairs and coalition axes to be part of the victory," he said.

Even so, Kamhar is optimistic that Khofifah can join the Advanced Indonesia Coalition (KIM) to carry Prabowo-Gibran. Because he said, Khofifah was close to the Democrats and Golkar who were members of KIM.

"However, we are optimistic that there is a special closeness between the Forward Indonesia Coalition and Mrs. Khofifah, especially since the two main supporting political parties in East Java, namely the Democratic Party and the Golkar Party are members of the Advanced Indonesia Coalition," explained Kamhar.

Previously, the Chairman of TKN Prabowo-Gibran, Rosan Roeslani, said that there would be a well-known East Java figure who would join next Sunday. This was said by the Deputy Chairperson of TPN Bahlil Lahadalia that it would be a surprise. "God willing, next week I will announce the figures who join us, including East Java figures, and of course they are very, very well known to the community. And this will be a source of our strength together," said Rosan at Djakarta Theater, Central Jakarta, Saturday, October 28, evening.
