Prabowo-Gibran Officially Registers For Presidential And Vice Presidential Candidates 2024 On The Last Day

JAKARTA - Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka officially register as presidential and vice presidential candidates for the 2024 General Elections at the Indonesian General Elections Commission (KPU) Office. Prabowo-Gibran registered on the last day of registration for the presidential and vice-presidential candidates.

Prabowo and Gibran were escorted by leaders of the Advanced Indonesia Coalition (KIM), namely the Gerindra Party, the Golkar Party, PAN, the Democratic Party, the Crescent Star Party (PBB), the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI), the Gelora Party, and the Prima Party. Also present were the ranks of the National Campaign Team for the Advanced Indonesia Coalition.

The General Chairperson of the Golkar Party as the coalition representative handed over the nomination requirements and candidate requirements to the Chairman of the Indonesian KPU Hasyim Asy'ari. Then, Prabowo and Gibran also submitted their vision and mission documents.

"We registered the presidential and vice presidential candidate pairs on behalf of all of us, namely Mr. Lieutenant General TNI Retired Haji Prabowo Subianto as a presidential candidate for the Republic of Indonesia paired with Mas Gibran Rakabuming Raka as a candidate for vice president of the Republic of Indonesia for the period 2024-2029," said Airlangga at the KPU RI Office, Central Jakarta, Wednesday, October 25.

On that occasion, Airlangga admitted that he believed that Prabowo and Gibran were the right couple to continue the nation's leadership and bring progress to Indonesia.

"Both of them are a combination that complements each other as experienced leaders, patriarchs, who are accompanied by young leaders who encourage the transformation of the nation towards a better Indonesia," he added.

After the registration documents for the presidential and vice-presidential candidates are submitted, the KPU will check the completeness and verification of the files. The stages of verification of the requirements for the presidential and vice-presidential candidates will be carried out until November 13, 2023.

Furthermore, the KPU will determine the presidential and vice presidential candidate pairs who have registered on November 13, 2023, followed by the determination of the candidate pair serial number on November 14, 2023.

Before registering at the KPU, the Prabowo and Gibran couple gathered at Prabowo's residence on Jalan Kertanegara. Furthermore, the group will meet with volunteers at the Indonesia Arena Stadium, GBK, Senayan to declare their candidacy for Prabowo-Gibran in the 2024 presidential election.

From the Indonesia Arena Stadium, Prabowo and Gibran took the bus to Suropati Park to change the KPU menuji vehicle. The two of them boarded the latest 4x4 WD TNI unit operational vehicle (ranops) produced by PT Pindad, Maung Tangguh.

This vehicle was inaugurated by President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) on Monday, January 18, 2023. The Maung has been decorated complete with yellow leaves like a bride-to-be car. During the convoy to the KPU, Prabowo and Gibran greeted the supporters who filled the front road of the KPU Office.
