Bela Jokowi Regarding The Issue Of Dynasty Politics, Prabowo: All Dynastys Bung, Don't Look For A Negative Lah

JAKARTA - The General Chairperson of the Gerindra Party as well as the presidential candidate for the Advanced Indonesia Coalition (KIM), Prabowo Subianto, defended President Joko Widodo, who was considered to have perpetuated his power through dynastic political practices.

Prabowo appealed to all parties to look at the positive side. In fact, he admitted that his family also carried out political dynasties to build the nation and negar.

"Oh, dynasty. All dynasty, man. All dynasty, right. We don't look for negative ones, look for positive ones, yes. People want to serve what's wrong, right. I'm also a dynasty," Prabowo said after the Gerindra National Meeting at The Darmawangsa, Monday, October 23.

It is known that the issue of Jokowi's political dynasties was widely discussed after the Chief Justice of the Constitutional Court (MK) Anwar Usman, who was his brother-in-law, passed the lawsuit for the age limit for the vice presidential candidate at least 40 years unless he served in office through elections, including regional heads.

He made this lawsuit called to pass his nephew who is also the mayor of Solo, Gibran Rakabuming Raka, to become Prabowo's vice president. Not to mention Jokowi's youngest son, Kaesang Pangarep, became PSI's General Chair in just two days to join the party.

Prabowo assessed that there was nothing wrong with the large number of family members who served as important positions in the government. Prabowo also said he also came from the Indonesian economic champion Soemitro Djojohadikusumo.

"I am the son of Sumitro, his grandson Margono Djojohadikusumo, my uncle died for RI," he said.

Therefore, according to him, as long as the intention is to serve the country, there is nothing wrong with the political dynasty.

"We are a red and white dynasty, we are a patriot dynasty, we are a dynasty that wants to serve the people. If Pak Jokowi's dynasty wants to serve the people, why? What's wrong? So think well, think positively, yes," continued Prabowo.
