In The Last 2 Months, Central Sulawesi Police Have Arrested 37 Drug Dealers And 2 Kg Of Methamphetamine Confiscated

PALU - The Central Sulawesi Regional Police (Sulteng) Task Force (Satgas) revealed as many as 32 cases of drug abuse in the area during the September-October 2023 period.

"The Central Sulawesi Regional Police P3GN Task Force has been formed since September 21, 2023. And for one month it has been formed to have uncovered 32 drug cases," said Head of Public Relations of the Central Sulawesi Regional Police, Djoko Wienartono, quoted by ANTARA, Friday, October 20.

Djoko said the task force, which was formed starting at the Polres, Polda and Polri levels, was aimed at taking firm action against drug abuse perpetrators and rehabilitating drug users.

In addition, taking precautions against drug smuggling, and amplifying the success of drug disclosure.

He revealed that of the 32 cases, the P3GN task force secured 37 suspects with evidence in the form of 2,028.34 grams of methamphetamine or more than two kilograms, and 2,964 pills of dangerous drugs.

The P3GN Task Force at the Central Sulawesi Regional Police is led by the Deputy Head of the Central Sulawesi Regional Police (Wakapolda) Brigadier General Pol. Soeseno Noerhandoko as Kasatgasda, assisted by five Subsatgasda, namely the Preemptive Subsatgas led by Dirintelkam, the Dirbinmas Preventive Subsatgas, the Head of Health Rehabilitation and Health Subsatgas, the Gakkum Subsatgasda of the Narcotics Director and the Public Relations Subsatgas of the Head of Public Relations.

In prevention efforts, said Djoko, the task force also increased coordination and cooperation with relevant stakeholders or stakeholders to educate and establish resilient villages of drugs.

"Therefore, we also appeal to the people of Central Sulawesi to help with the duties of the Central Sulawesi Regional Police P3GN task force, because drugs are common enemies. Do not let our relatives or families become victims of drug abuse," he said.
