GORONTALO - The Gorontalo High Prosecutor's Office (Kejati) has again named two suspects in a corruption case at the Regional Drinking Water Company (PDAM) Bone Bolango Regency. Head of the Legal Information and Public Relations Section of the Gorontalo Prosecutor's Office, Dadang Djafar, said the two suspects had the initials HH and MHR, respectively. "HH is the Director of one of the provider companies, and MHR is one of the consulting companies," said Dadang in Gorontalo, Thursday, October 5, quoted by Antara. In the Bone Bolango PDAM corruption case in 2018-2021, Dadang explained that the two suspects had a role, namely not to carry out their main duties and functions as stipulated in the laws and regulations. After going through the investigation process by the Gorontalo Prosecutor's Office Investigators, both of them were officially named suspects with the suspicion of Article 18 of Law Number 31 of 1999, as amended and supplemented by Law Number 20 of 2001, in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph 1 of the first with a penalty of 20 years in prison.

The determination of the suspect against HH was carried out based on the Suspect Determination Letter Number B 1986/P.5/FD.1/10/2023 dated October 4, 2023. "The calculation of state money losses by the Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP) for the Gorontalo Province Representative is IDR 24.3 billion," he said. The Gorontalo Prosecutor's Office investigators will still carry out developments regarding where and where the funds are flowing. So far, his party has examined 60 witnesses.
