Judge Cecar Crown Witness Of 4G BTS Corruption Case Trial On Commitment Fee: Don't Do Anything Brothers!

JAKARTA - Chief Justice Fahzal Hendri questioned Galumbang Menak as President Director of PT Mora Telematika Indonesia who is a crown witness in the trial of the alleged corruption base transceiver station (BTS) 4G, today. The disbursement was about the commitment fee with the President Director of PT Lintasarta, Arya Damar regarding the plan to join Bakti Kominfo in the 4G BTS project. It started when Judge Fahzal questioned whether there was a meeting with Arya Damar or not. Galumbang also agreed and said that the meeting was routinely held because PT Lintaarta was the largest client of its company. Then, Judge Fahzal mentioned whether there was a commitment fee discussion or not. However, Galumbang denied it. "Are you talking about the commitment fee?" Judge Fahzal asked during a trial at the Corruption Court at the Central Jakarta District Court, Tuesday, October 3. "No," Galumbang replied. Hearing Galumbang's answer, Judge Fahzal seemed to believe that something was covered up. So, asking the crown witness for the defendant Johnny Gerard Plate, Anang Achmad Latif, and Yohan Suryanto, said the truth. "Don't mess around, brother," said Judge Fahzal. "There is no His Majesty, it is impossible for our customers..," Galumbang replied. "Don't be impossible, offer?" said Judge Fahzal. "As I have explained, Your Majesty," said Galumbang. Judge Fahzal then said that Arya Damar had been questioned at the trial. Then, it is stated that there is a commitment fee of 10 percent. "Arya damar is sir, we have examined him as a witness in this case, sir. He said Galumbang Menak said it, there was a commitment fee of 10 percent, that's why he dared to spend Rp. 240 billion. That's how it is, sir, because he got the project with a ceiling of Rp. 2.4 trillion," explained Judge Fahzal.

However, Galumbang still denied it. He argued that he never discussed the commitment fee when meeting Arya Damar. "Until today, Your Majesty, that I have never given it to me and I have never collected it," said Galumbang.
