Giring: PSI Owner Who Is Actually Kaesang Pangarep

JAKARTA - Chairman of the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) Giring Ganesha recommended Kaesang Pangareb as PSI General Chair. Giirng claims to have communicated with the youngest son of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) for a long time. Giring said that he would ask the PSI Board of Trustees to ratify Kaesang as the new party chairman in the National Land Coffee forum (Kopdarnas) tonight at Djakarta Theater, Central Jakarta. "Since my video came out some time ago, I have said, 'It's time to return this party to its real owner.' At that time I had submitted a recommendation to the party, that the young man was Mas Kaesang Pangarep," explained Giring in a written statement received in Jakarta, Monday, September 25. "Today I will chair the Plenary Meeting of Kopdarnas to immediately ask the Board of Trustees to ratify Mas Kaesang as chairman," he said again. After not leading PSI, Giring will focus on serving in the PSI Board of Trustees and try to win the seats of the Indonesian House of Representatives from the West Java I constituency for PSI. Giring also answered various criticisms about the general chairman of political parties being able to recommend a replacement name.

PSI, said Giring, always prioritizes collectiveity for a common purpose, namely to qualify for Senayan in the 2024 General Election. "The spirit of PSI must pass to Senayan in the upcoming 2024 General Election. That is the aspiration of all cadres at PSI," said Giring.
