PKB Please Said Aqil Become A Candidate For National Team Captain To Win AMIN

Chairman of the PKB DPP Cucun Ahmad Syamsurijal hopes that the name of the former General Chairperson of the Nahdlatul Ulama (PBNU) Executive Board, Said Aqil Siradj, will be included in the list of candidates for the National Team Captain Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar (AMIN).

"Yes, if we really hope for all of that, but not yet. What kind of communication will be made, and what kind of direction will he be," said Cucun at the DPR building, Senayan, Jakarta, Thursday, September 21.

According to Cucun, Said Aqil has a fairly close relationship with the General Chairperson of the PKB who will also be vice presidential candidate for the Change Coalition, Muhaimin Iskandar or Cak Imin. However, Cucun admitted that he did not know the attitude taken by Said Aqil.

"It is certain that Gus Imin and Kiai Said's closeness knows everything, between the students and their kiai, he will definitely determine what their attitude will be," he said.

Cucun can only confirm that there are representatives of ulama as members of the team who will later be members of the AMIN Winning National Team.

"Obviously that composition. Which one will represent the PKB of the warehouse, if Kiai, the ulama, then the national figure PKB also has, we will collaborate on everything," he explained.

Previously, the NasDem Party said that the candidate for captain of the national team for winning AMIN could come from various circles, both from political parties (political parties) and from outside political parties.

"So the criteria can come from political parties, it can be non-political parties, cross gender, and across professions," said NasDem Party Secretary General Hermawi Taslim, Wednesday, September 20.

According to Hermawi, NasDem has no problem with the background of the candidate for the captain of the AMIN Winning National Team. Provided, he said, the captain could give the best for the Indonesian nation.

"The origins are not very important. The important thing is that he can guarantee all the potential that exists in this coalition," explained Hermawi.

Hermawi said the coalition is targeting the national team captain to be decided by the general chairman before September 30, 2023.

"I can't say for sure when, but next week it will be close to the deadline. Anyway, no later than September 30, our team is all tidy," he concluded.
