The Bodies Of NTT Residents Returned To Their Villages, Deaths In The Gardens Are Not Known The Cause

TANJUNG SELOR - Residents who were found dead in the garden of the border community Mess PT Abdi Borneo, Tengkapak division, Tanjung Selor District, Bulungan, North Kalimantan (Kaltara), was identified some time ago.

The rotting body when found was named Daud (45), a resident of West Sumba, West Nusa Tenggara (NTT) and worked at PT Abdi Borneo.

This was revealed by the Head of the NTT Bulungan Large Family Harmony (KKB), Serfus Yanto.

"The victim is an employee who works at PT AB in Kilometer 9, who has worked at the company for 7 months," he said, Thursday, September 21.

"From the statements of several of his co-workers, he (Daud) has been working for about 7 months," he said.

His party and his family fully handed over to the police to reveal the cause of Daud's death, who was thought to have been dead for 2 weeks.

"Learning from this case, I ask NTT residents wherever they are, when a colleague has lost contact, for more than two or three days, and without knowing his whereabouts, he must immediately report it, so that he can quickly find out. Seeing the condition of this corpse, we are very concerned, maybe two weeks have died, only found," he said.

Daud is known to have a wife and two children. The family was quite surprised after hearing the news.

"The child and his wife are in the village, as soon as they hear the sad news, they hope that the deceased's body can be returned and buried to his hometown. Grateful to be able to be flown to NTT today from Tarakan airport," he explained.

Meanwhile, the Head of Bulungan Police, Kombes Agus Nugraha, through the Head of Public Relations, Bripka Hadi Purnomo, confirmed that his party had succeeded in identifying the victim's body after investigating the crime scene (TKP).

"From the results of the examination of the witnesses and their families, it was confirmed that the victim was named Daud," explained Hadi.

Regarding the cause of death, the police are still waiting for the results of the post-mortem from the Tanjung Selor Hospital.

"The police have not yet received the results of the post-mortem," he concluded.
