JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) dismissed its employee, Novel Aslen Rumorbo, who was caught collecting money for an official trip.
He was found guilty of violating Article 5 letter a PP Number 94 of 2021 concerning Civil Servant Discipline in the form of abuse of authority.
"Today the KPK has dismissed NAR's brother for violating the administrative fraud of official travel," said Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri to reporters, Tuesday, September 19.
The KPK ensures that the application of criminal penalties will be carried out at this time. This is because the investigation into alleged corruption carried out by former employees continues.
"We simultaneously enforce the code of ethics through the Supervisory Board (Dewas), enforce employee discipline by the Inspectorate, and follow-up to handling alleged corruption by the Deputy for Enforcement and Execution," said Ali.
"KPK also continues to make prevention and mitigation efforts so that similar violations do not occur again," he continued.
Ali asked the public to continue to monitor this allegation. All developments will be conveyed to the public.
"This is a form of KPK's commitment to transparency to the public," he said.
